The rooftop pool was open until late, and i enjoyed the city views while swimming. The breakfast buffet offered many fresh options. I liked having a gym with several cardio machines, including treadmills and bikes.

I noticed some minor wear and tear in the bathroom. The shower grout needed recaulking.

the hotel staff acknowledged our honeymoon. they added lovely decorations upon our arrival. the metro station is a few minutes away by foot. one of the main train stations that goes to lake maggiore is a ten-minute walk, avoiding the busy city center stations. i really liked the blackout curtains. the beds and pillows felt super comfortable to me.

I had a minor issue. The daily cleaning seemed a little rushed. i noticed some hair on the floor.

My room included an espresso machine. The hotel also had a refrigerator in the room. Paolo at the concierge was helpful with arranging transportation and activities before the visit. I also found wonderful places to eat within walking distance.

The staff were not very smiley. It reminded me of the staff were bothered whenever I asked a question at Reception. The hotel does not have an iron and ironing board in each room. I had to request one via Housekeeping when I wanted it.
